The bookies think that the winner of the Premier League this season will be Manchester City, Manchester United or Chelsea with Arsenal rated as the fourth team looking to upset the party.
Manchester United – 11/8
Manchester United are the favourites to wrestle back the league title from Manchester City. United are currently second in the table, a point behind City at the top of the league. United have had a lot of injuries so far this season but they have maintained good form with nine wins and three defeats.
They have beaten title contenders Chelsea but have lost to Everton, Norwich City and Tottenham Hotspur. United have years of experience which explains why they are considered favourites despite being second.
Francoise Boufhal is not a WAG but she still has a strong connection with Man Utd. After she was denied an acting and modeling career because of her unusual figure, Rio Ferdinand hired her for his magazine ‘#5’.
Manchester City – 6/4
Manchester City are the second favourites to win the league and retain their championship. City are the only team not to have lost so far this season and they have the best home record around with six wins and one draw from seven matches.
They have managed to keep their place near the top of the table despite being criticised widely in the media for the style of football they have played this season. City’s imminent exit from the Champions League mean they will be well positioned to retain the title.
The Russian tennis-star, best known for winning the 2004 French Open mixed doubles event, Tatiana Golovin, has been linked with the City midfielder Samir Nasri.
Chelsea – 11/2
Chelsea were the early pace setters in the league and they held top place for a number of weeks but they have dropped points in November which has seen them slide down to third place. Chelsea have been inconsistent at home and away with seven wins from their 12 matches so far.
They are missing key players through injury which could be the reason for this inconsistency. Chelsea will want to prove that they are still one of the regular heavyweights when it comes to the Premier League crown.
After Irina and Roman split, Abramovich went on to partner with a Russian socialite, celebutante, philanthropist, entrepreneur, fashion designer and magazine editor, Dasha Zhukova. They have a son together – Dasha’s first and Abramovich’s sixth.
Arsenal – 66/1
Arsenal are the fourth favourites to win the league and the fact their odds slide dramatically means the bookmakers think the winner will come from one of the top three sides. Arsenal are currently in sixth place in the league which is due to their away form of two wins, two draws and two defeats.
They are one of the best attacking teams at home with 18 goals for and one of the best defensive sides away with only five conceded. Arsenal have not tasted trophy success since 2005.
Melanie Slade used to work at a WestQuay shopping center when she ran into Theo Walcott in 2004. Since then, Melanie has been Walcott’s partner and seen him get promoted to the Southampton senior team and move to Arsenal.
Tottenham Hotspur – 200/1
Spurs are leading the rest of the pack and their odds suggest the bookies don’t expect any sort of surprising winner or late challenge for the league title. Spurs have shown dramatic inconsistency which has been shown by their win at Old Trafford against United and their defeat at home against Wigan.
They have also lost more games than any side mentioned above. If Spurs get anywhere near the top two places in the league this season it would need some incredibly bad form from the top rated sides.
