Milner enlists Liverpool co-stars and WAGs for big charity bash

The James Milner foundation held a huge charity gala this week in order to raise funds for the young and needy in the UK. The England and Liverpool midfielder set up the foundation in 2012, in order to give younger people in need a better life, raising money through sports with Football, Rugby and Cricket the focus, as well as trying to get more youngsters into Sport in order to help them avoid crime and anti-social behaviour.

The final amount raised from this week’s event is unknown, but it has been made public that platinum tables for the outing were being sold for £10,000, with several sponsors paying various amounts between £5,000-£25,000. Milner managed to convince a number of his high-flying teammates to participate in his momentous event, including the likes of Joe Gomez, Jordan Henderson, Virgil Van Dijk and even current manager Jurgen Klopp, all of whom were accompanied by their WAGs.

The German manager was out celebrating pushing his side to their best ever start to a Premier League season, notching up an impressive 33 points from their opening 13 matches, although unbelievably they still trail leaders Manchester City despite such an emphatic start to the campaign, but they are usually one of the first names in my dailyaccas.com weekend accumulators.

Klopp said: “It’s nice, the 33 points are brilliant and the goal difference is really good, I like all that.

“At this fantastic big club with outstanding teams in the past, that this group of players can get this record is nice.

“The season is not finished and it doesn’t bring anything but if someone wants this record in the future they must beat this team.

“It was a really mature performance. We have never controlled games in the manner we do now. I know people miss one or two situations from last season but we have these games.”

Bringing Milner’s team-mates, manager and all their stunning wives can only move to bring more attention to the already growing charity, and I’m sure a large number of you would jump at the chance to be in the vicinity of all these beautiful ladies, while some of you may even be in awe of the footballing talent also on show.

Congrats to Milner for doing what he can to help those less fortunate than himself…
