No hanky panky! Mesut Ozil’s fiancee banned from the World Cup

The Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has been heavily criticised this season for missing random games for the Gunners, with suspicions that he has been taking regular trips to Turkey to see his gorgeous Turkish fiancee Amine Gulse, but Arsenal still went ahead and gave the German international an incredibly large pay rise. Ozil last played for the Gunners when they got knocked out of the Europa League by Atletico Madrid, and he was slammed after the game for his lacklustre performance and he promptly disappeared for the last three games of Arsene wenger’s reign.

Now he is off training with the Germany squad ahead of the World Cup in Russia and the team are 5/1 second favourites with Novibet Sports and despite planning to get married to Amine after the tournament he has now been told that he will not be able to see his beloved while the Germans are still in the competition. It has been revealed that Joachim Low has banned his players from having sex during their time in Russia and they will be forced to ask for special permission to see their other halves during the build-up to the competition but they will be banned from all contact during the tournament.

But the tough German coach will allow the holders to booze to help boost team spirits, according to Gazetta dello Sport, with Low insisting: “The team is more important than the ego.”

This will not please the Arsenal midfielder who has taken numerous weekends off to fly to Istabul to see Gulse, so he obviously can’t handle being away from her for any length of time.
