One of England’s best known Footballers WAGs, Abbey Clancy, is reportedly worried about the effect that the new upcoming TV show “Desperate Scousewives” will show the whole WAG culture in a bad light, especially in Liverpool where, allegedly, every young girl’s highest aspiration is to marry a footballer!

One of her biggest worries is that her cousin Chloe Cummings is going to be in the show, and the “embarrassment factor” could reflect badly on her family. The England manager Fabio Capello has already stated that he doesn’t want the footballers WAGs disrupting the teams training sessions and game preparations during this summers World Cup, and he is gathering support from the players.

The Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has already spoken out in Capellos defence, and now Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard has also agreed that their wives won’t be around for the all-important group stages.

The Man Utd striker Rooney said: “If they want to come and support us there’s nothing stopping them,” he said. “Last time we were all together in the hotel and that was a bit of a problem. My wife’s just had a baby so she’s not going anyway.” ......Read the full article here
