Melissa, the wife of Birmingham City star Roger Johnston quite enjoys being a WAG, although she has known her husband since they were ten years old, so is hardly a normal “airhead gold-digger” type of WAG.
But she was a model and an actress before marrying Roger, and actually had a part in the “Footballers Wives” TV show.
“It’s funny because that was a coincidence and had nothing to do with Roger,” said Melissa. “I had a small speaking part as a WAG in the programme, which came about through my agent.
