Jamie Vardy doesn’t go clubbing much any more….. (says Becky)

The newest Arsenal player (or perhaps not!) Jamie Vardy has got a reputation of being a bit of a bad boy, but according to his new Missus Rebekah he is now more of a family man than a clubber nowadays. Jamie has 5 year-old Ella from a previous relationship, Rebekah has Taylor, 6, and Megan, 11, from two previous affairs, and they have 18 month old Sofia between them, so he hardly has time to go out and join the young’uns clubbing at the grand old age of 29.

Becky explained that their social life was not a continuous round of parties and casinos. “It’s hard for us to go on dates now because of the attention, but that’s to be expected. He doesn’t go to nightclubs and would much rather do stuff at home. He’s been there, done it and isn’t interested any more,” She said in the Mirror.

And as for him going out on the town with his team-mates, Becky says he doesn’t do that much either nowadays. “I haven’t cracked the whip and said: ‘You can’t go.’ I trust him to go out. I think you get to a certain point [in life], and he’s so focused on football and being the best that he can, he doesn’t have time.”

Currently Jamie is off with England at the Euros in France, and he could be very instrumental in the Three Lions going far in the competition if he carries on scoring at his current rate. Their campaign kicks off against Russia on Saturday and over at the William Hill Football betting Odds, England are the hot favourites to win the game at 10/11, and Vardy himself is a great price of 6/1 to be the first goalscorer. Or if you think he will be the star of the tournament, you can get 40/1 on him winning the Golden Boot!

Obviously Arsenal fans have heard that Vardy drinks every day and that he once made a racist comment in a casino, but it sounds like he has now settled down to a peaceful family life with his new wife. That can only be good for the Gunners…..
