Welcome to Arsenal Mesut Ozil, and welcome to London Mandy Capristo. The deadline day signing of the hugely talented Germany international has really set tongues wagging among the world of football, and this picture shows that his girlfriend could soon be the talk of the town as well.
23-year old Mandy Capristo was born in Mannheim, Germany and she is a celebrity in her own right. Mandy has worked as a model and dancer as well as her current main interest, singing. She writes songs as well as performing them and released her first solo single and album last year.
As the Premier League, Champions League and all the other club competitions around Europe draw to a close, it is time to think about the World Cup again. And this year, with it being in beautiful Brazil with all it’s beaches, carnivals and party people, should mean it is the best tournament ever for the Wags.
Some people think that a happy footballer makes for a footballer in form, so maybe that means the players with the hottest Wives and Girlfriends will be the ones who take the World Cup by storm. So to help you with your World Cup betting offers, or more realistically to get you in the mood for a Wag filled World Cup, let’s take a look at some of the favourites for the title.
Bayern Munich may have signalled a change in world football. Their 4-0 demolition of Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final has got many football journalists suggesting that this could signal an end to the dominance of the tiki-taka style that has done so well for Barcelona and the Spain national team in recent years.
The man who scored the first and the last of Bayern’s four goals, Thomas Muller, had more reasons than most to smile. He really has got things going for him, judging by this picture of his gorgeous wife Lisa who he married three years ago after seeing her for two years.
As Arsenal prepare for a titanic effort to beat Bayern Munich on their home turf and prove all their doubters wrong, here at JustWags we are having our own struggle, to choose who wins the battle of the Wags between the two sides. To start us off we have Mrs. Ludivine Sagna, wife of Bacary, in her warpaint and dressed for battle.
In the opposite corner, dressed in….nothing but paint is Sarah Brandner, the gorgeous girlfriend of the Bayern vice-captain Bastian Schweinsteiger. It looks like injury might keep both players out of the action for the second leg of the tie, but don’t feel too sorry for them, will you.
One of the revelations this season has been the new defensive solidity. The Gunners are yet to concede a goal after three games, and this has coincided with the return to top form of the German international Per Mertesacker. He is making it difficult for one of the best players of last season, Laurent Koscielny, gethis place back.
Maybe it is the influence of Arsene Wenger’s new assistant Steve Bould, or maybe he is just more settled after a year in England. Mertesacker’s long term girlfriend, Ulrike Stange, gave birth to the couple’s first child last April so the central defender might not have been getting enough sleep last season.
German international Lukas Podolski has got everything going for him at the minute. He is part of the Germany squad that is joint favourite with most sportsbook reviews for the Euro 2012 tournament and he has just completed his dream move to the Premier league with Arsenal.
Even if all of this goes wrong, however, he can console himself with the fact that he has got his own Premier league at home, his wife.
She posed for SI.com with nothing on but a (miniscule) painted Germany shirt, but hell, who’s looking at the paint! She is nothing less than stunning, and purely for selfish reasons I would love an English club to buy Schweinsteiger simply so that we could see more of the lovely Ms Brandner in the UK.
If any red-blooded male doesn’t drool over this lovely lady I will be extremely surprised!
