Bayern Munich may have signalled a change in world football. Their 4-0 demolition of Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final has got many football journalists suggesting that this could signal an end to the dominance of the tiki-taka style that has done so well for Barcelona and the Spain national team in recent years.

Some guys have all the luck, according to Rod Stewart, and the England and Manchester United midfielder certainly seems to be one of them, as this picture of his stunning girlfriend Georgina Dorsett proves. The 27-year old property developer announced in December that she was pregnant with the couple’s first child which is due later this year.

Georgina used to be on the `reality` TV show the Only Way is Essex, but has given it up and will soon be too busy with the patter of tiny feet anyway. This is not the typical Wags story, but a rather strange whodunnit involving a former Arsenal striker. The man in the picture is an openly gay Tory politician called Brian Coleman, who was last year stripped of all Authority by Barnet council, so now has loads of time to play at a mobile casino or watch football games!

The Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has a hard life, getting paid fortunes to occasionally get on the end of a Cristiano Ronaldo cross or through ball. He shares the workload with the French international striker Karim Benzema, so doesn’t even have all the pressure of providing the goals to complement Ronaldo’s scoring prowess.

Don’t feel too sorry for Gonzalo, though, it’s not all work, work, work for the Argentinian international. He can go to the casino as often as he likes and he certainly doesn’t have to play poker for free stakes! Everything seems to be going well for Arsenal’s Spanish midfielder Mikel Arteta as the team continue their unbeaten start to the season.

One of the revelations this season has been the new defensive solidity.
