The game that everyone is talking about and looking forward to this weekend in the English Premier League is the first big derby clash of the season. And because the derby is between the huge spenders of Manchester United and Man City and with all the other things like the managerial rivalry adding spice to an already hot looking dish it is no wonder that the eyes of the world will be on Old Trafford tomorrow.
Premier League champion Jeffrey Schlupp has caused a fight between two of his former lovers this week. The left-sided footballer is currently dating fashion designer Amy Jackson, but the incident did not involve her, but two lovers from his past.
Schlupp has a child with Callan Glover, who still lives in his mansion on the outskirts of Leicester, and police had to be called on her when she attacked another former lover of the footballer.
The Ghana international hooked up with Natasha Taylor whilst on holiday in Marbella, and but it turned out to only be a fling, although that did not prevent from his baby-mother from coming across pictures of the pair on social media.
Gareth Bale’s birthday turns into a marriage proposal
Have you heard the latest good news in football? No, it’s not an arrival of a new football-themed online casino but, it’s just as good – Gareth Bale, the superstar footballer, confirmed his engagement to Emma Rhys-Jones, his high school sweetheart on Twitter recently.
This engagement is just more good news after he played a successful Euro 2016 as well as a successful Championship League campaign. Now, Bale gets to experience another happy chapter in his life later on this year.
There are not many red-blooded football fans that have not heard of the Playboy centre-fold Carla Howe, and it appears that she has now come to the attention of a couple of England footballers as well.
The beauty has been seen around with Liverpool right-back Nathaniel Clyne for some time, but there is also a married England player that has been trying to get to know her a little better shall we say!
For those who don’t know, Ruby Mae is the new girlfriend of Tottenham Hotspur and England starlet Dele Alli. The 20-year-old has achieved great things on the field this season and he has now bagged himself another stunner off the pitch. Mae, 21, was seen consoling Alli after England suffered a shock defeat to Iceland at the European Championships; a result that knocked Roy Hodgson’s men out of the competition.
There is always talk before the big competitions as to whether the national team managers will allow the wives and girlfriends of the players into the team hotel while the tournament is in progress. The Wales manager Chris Coleman has already banned the WAGs from their hotel, but when the Ireland manager Martin O’Neill was asked if he would be following suit he replied: “Well, it depends on how good looking the girls are,”
“If they are really attractive, they’re very, very welcome. The uglier ones, I’m afraid not.”
Michelle Marsh was in the music video for England football song Come on England from 2004, and coincidentally ended up becoming a WAG.
The former Page 3 model was once a regular feature in newspapers and magazines (as well as teenagers walls), but is now 33 years-old and quit the modelling industry to be a mother to her children.
She is now married to lower league footballer Will Haining, who proposed to her on Valentines Day in 2005, but she has come back into my thoughts for her music video from the year before.
Becky explained that their social life was not a continuous round of parties and casinos. “It’s hard for us to go on dates now because of the attention, but that’s to be expected. He doesn’t go to nightclubs and would much rather do stuff at home. He’s been there, done it and isn’t interested any more,” She said in the Mirror.
After the terrorist bombings all over Europe this year, including the multiple deaths at the Stade De France on the night of a France international match that made the area around the ground look like a war zone, there are obviously serious worries about further atrocities being committed at the Euro2016 competition to be held over the next month or so.
With thousands of footballers and fans arriving from all over the world the event will be a nightmare to police, so there is little surprise that there will be acute security measures put in place o minimise the risks to the England team as much as possible.
The show is set to start shooting in November, and the show’s bosses are reportedly keen on including the football WAG for the show. Her stock could be in for a huge rise this summer if her husband Wayne, who is the captain of England’s senior international side, manages to lead his country to glory.
